I came to the U.S. at eighteen with a suitcase full of dreams and absolutely no idea that one day I’d be writing books filled with magic, mayhem, and morally complex love interests. I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from Brooklyn College, but my true calling—storytelling—was always waiting in the wings. My lifelong passions? Animals and books.
As a kid, I read The Wizard of Oz five times for fun. As a teen, I forgot how much I loved stories, until my mother stopped me on the way to a movie and handed me a novel about Alexander the Great, saying, “Read this first.” That moment changed everything. I rediscovered my love for fiction and never looked back. (The Count of Monte Cristo didn’t just break my heart, it rewired my brain.)
After founding an animal rescue called AMA Animal Rescue in Brooklyn, NY, dedicated to saving the most heartbreaking cases of abuse and neglect, I did something equally brave: I started writing the stories I wanted to read. Fantasy. Romantasy. Epic stakes and soft animal companions. My books are for anyone who’s ever needed an escape and found it in a page.
I write to make readers feel deeply, laugh unexpectedly, cry unapologetically, and fall completely in love with characters who would fight gods for each other. And yes, there will always be at least one animal. Probably more. Deal with it.

My very first book obsession was The Count of Monte Cristo and my big, dreamy goal is to one day write a romantasy retelling of it.
Every night as I fall asleep, I play the story I’m writing in my head. It plays like a movie until I drift off. (Basically, my dreams are just bonus chapters.)
When I was eighteen, I made a list of life goals, then promptly forgot about it. At thirty-five, I found it again and realized I’d already accomplished most of what I’d written down.
I’m obsessed with sunsets and sunrises. The orange and pink against the blue skies always catch my heart and remind me to be happy in that moment.
